The Readington Township School District will begin accepting parent nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program for students in 1st-7th grade on February 1st. All parent nomination forms must be completed online no later than March 21st. Since the assessment process will begin immediately following the nomination deadline, late entries cannot be accepted.If you are interested in nominating your child for the G&T program, please follow the link below. Students already participating in the GT program do not need to reapply.

The Barnes & Noble Book Fair is returning on Thursday, February 13th, from 5:00-7:30 to the Somerville Circle Barnes & Noble store. HSA NEWSTrivia NightGet Ready for a Fun Night Out, Parents!
Join us on Wednesday, February 26th, at 6:30 PM at The Rail for a Family Feud-style trivia night that’s sure to be a blast! This adults-only event is the perfect opportunity for a fun night out while supporting a great cause!
You can register as a team (of 4–6 people) or as an individual. If you’re flying solo, no worries—we’ll match you up with others who have similarly-aged kids!

NEW! Lost and Found
RMS Families, please note that all Lost and Found items have been out this week for the students to go through. All items not claimed by 4pm on Thursday, January 23rd, will be donated to the HSA Used Clothing Drive. Please remind your students to go through all items outside the cafetorium. If you would like to come in and go through with your student, you may do so after school hours from 2:35pm - 4:00pm Wednesday or Thursday. Maschio's and the cafeteria staff will be celebrating a Chef Day at RMS on January 28, 2025. Chef Scott will be onsite to prepare and serve a South Asian Bar. This is in response to the suggestions from the students at the Food Advisory Committee Meeting. They specifically requested chicken tikka masala. Please note that all ingredients in the dishes are listed in the digital menus that are on the district's website. Please see the flyer for more information.

Hunterdon Central High School Counselors will be coming in to present to all 8th grade students regarding transitioning to high school, expectations, credit requirements, and scheduling. By now, you should all have updated your Genesis information to ensure that it is accurate and up to date. In the coming days, Hunterdon Central will be sending Genesis login information for students and parents to schedule Elective courses for next year.

School Bus Drivers & Preschool Bus Aides Wanted
The district is currently seeking school bus drivers and preschool bus aides. School bus drivers are eligible for health and dental benefits, a pension or 403b with match, and the district has a CDL training program for those without licenses. Pay is up to $33/hour. Preschool bus aides can earn a stipend up to $4,525 for 1 hour of work per day for the school year. Interested persons can apply online or contact Jason M. Thank you to everyone who donated to our fall donation drive, we collected $870!
Winter Concerts
Thank you to everyone who donated refreshments or helped out at the FPAC tables during the HBS/RMS Winter concerts. We raised $700 from the sales of snacks, water, and flowers!
